When we think about vegetable gardening, spring tends to be the first thing that comes to mind. However, in our region, fall is actually a wonderful time to grow food! There are a handful of crops that thrive in the cooler night temperatures. Not only that, but many experience very high success rates starting seeds during this time of the year.
We are offering a class on how to prep for your fall veggie garden. We will be covering starting from seed, choosing plants, prepping your space, maximizing yields, and more. Just because summer is coming to a close doesn’t mean the veggie garden has to as well! Come learn how to keep it growin’.
Class is free.
Meets in the annuals greenhouse at 10:00am.
Pets & children are welcome.
